Viña Doña Paula
Mendoza, Argentina
Doña Paula is a leading Argentine producer focused on estate grown fruit, high altitude vineyards and sustainability, crafting expressive wines from the fresh Los Cardos Malbec to the research driven Selección de Bodega Malbec.
Founded in 1997, after 7 years of soil research in Mendoza, Doña Paula has quickly become one of Argentina’s most important wineries. It owns more than 700 hectares across three vineyards at varying altitudes, planted in the most outstanding terroirs of Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. The estate works exclusively with its own fruit, focusing on precision viticulture and a strong commitment to sustainability.
The portfolio is diverse: the Los Cardos range takes its name from the Spanish thistle, a natural indicator of healthy terroir, and features fresh, fruit driven wines grown above 1000 metres. The flagship, award-winning ‘Estate’ range embodies teh commitment of the winery to create world class wines accross different varietals. The Altitudes Series highlights the influence of height, site and grape variety. Selección de Bodega reflects more than 20 years of research into creating their vision of the ultimate Malbec.
