Cantine Paolo Leo

Puglia, Italy

Fifth-generation Puglian family crafting expressive, modern wines from indigenous grapes with strong regional character.

Paolo Leo stands for family, place and modern craft in Puglia. Five generations link back to Masseria Monticello, while today two advanced wineries work in Salice Salintino and near Primitivo di Manduria.

The team grows and sources fruit across Apulia where cool Adriatic and warm Ionian influences meet. Early morning harvests help retain freshness in a warm climate. In 2023 the range evolved with new local varieties including Vardeca, Susumaniello, Nero di Troia and Malvasia Nera. Orfeo Negroamaro comes from fifth year old bush vines in Salento and shows perfume, fine tannin and depth.
