Quinta de Calçada sits in the heart of the Vinho Verde region in Amarante and is one of its oldest producers, founded in 1917 by the Da Mota family. Within the estate lies a small vineyard with vines over 100 years old that produce its finest field blend cuvée.
Vinho Verde, known for its vibrant aromatics and naturally lower alcohol, has seen impressive growth, and Calçada produces styles for every occasion. Their Sparkling Vinho Verde won Best Value Sparkling at the Wine Merchant Top 100 in 2024.
