Renowned Tuscan cooperative Agricoltori del Chianti Geografico was founded in 1961 by 17 farmers determined to preserve local quality and identity. Today 120 growers farm-altitude vineyards in Castellina, Gaiole and Radda, crafting authentic Chianti Classico and Brunello-style wines.
Rescued by the Piccini family in the mid-2010s, Georgrafico now operates from a solar-powered headquarters in Castellina. Winemaker Alessandro Barabesi champions concrete and large-format oak to highlight purity, fruit and site expression. The result is a collection that honours tradition while embracing innovation, offering refined, elegant wines that showcase Tuscany’s enduring spirit.
