A pioneering Cava producer with over 150 years history of production, Vallformosa became the first Spanish winery to achieve B Corp certification in 2024. CEO Marta Vidal leads with a community-centric approach, with a ‘Growers club’ of over 400 vineyard owners in the region who work closely with Vallformosa’s winemaking and viticulture teams.

Innovation runs through the range, from organic Cava to zero alcohol sparkling and premium still wines produced from local varietals and lesser-known denominations including Malvasia de Sitges, Montsant and Terra Alta.

Sustainable initiatives are a core focus for the winery – consuming 40% less water than industry average, and reusing or recycling 99% of all waste from the winemaking process, and using 100% renewable energy.
