The Salzl family farms within Neusiedlersee National Park on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, a shallow lake that moderates the climate and extends the growing season.
Fruit purity and texture define the house style. Whites show concentration with delicate acidity, led by Figaro, an oak aged Grüner Veltliner. Reds take centre stage here, with bright Blaufränkisch and round Zweigelt from Neusiedlersee DAC. Salinity flows through the wines thanks to sandy and gravelly lakeside soils and wind-borne salt that adds a breezy mineral edge.
