De Bortoli Wines

Multi-regions, Australia

This century-old Australian family winery behind Noble One is also a sustainability pioneer creating multi-awarding winning wines across five regions and three wineries.

Founded in 1928 by Italian immigrant Vittorio De Bortoli, this pioneering Australian family winery has grown from humble Riverina roots to national acclaim. Four generations on, the family’s commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability remains strong. The iconic Noble One Botrytis Semillon, created in 1982, set a global benchmark for dessert wines, earning multiple international trophies.

Long before sustainability became mainstream, De Bortoli launched a far-reaching environmental program focused on zero-waste production, water efficiency and biological farming. Today the family farms vineyards across five premium regions, producing wines that combine generosity, balance and environmental responsibility. Run by third generation siblings Darren, Leanne, Kevin and Victor, the fourth generation are already hot on the heels, contributing winemaking expertise and innovation as the company nears its 100 year anniversary.
